I’ll never forget
the best night of my life. It was perfect, magical, and something I could never recreate. I was sleeping on a sailboat that was anchored near an island we had found in the ocean. I woke up sideways in the v-bird falling on top of my best friend. Our sailboat ran ashore at four in the morning. Naturally, one would panic, but I was too entranced by the sky full of stars. I was on an island with the moonlight shining back at me, with the sound of waves rolling in softly. One look at those stars and we already had our sleeping bags in our hands ready to spend the night on the beach. When we went onto the beach, the sand was welcoming and the warm sea breeze comforted us. Starfish were in the shallow waters attempting to stay warm, and dolphins were swimming in the cove right in front of us. I would give anything to go back in that moment
